For National Young Reader Day, our 5th grade classes walked to a local nursing home to read to some residents books the students had chosen. It was a great way for our students to practice both reading and kindness!

Our Monster Mash dance is Friday, November 8 from 5-7pm. This dance is for all Carlin Park boys and their special somebody. We will have pizza, snacks, and drinks available. Sorry for the late notice. Children at Carlin Park may wear costumes as long as costumes are NOT SCARY. No masks and no accessories. Costumes will need to be able to be changed out of if they become a distraction. We would prefer book characters but understand if regular costumes are what you have on hand. Teachers may have sent notes home but weren't given clear directions, so I apologize for that.
