Carlin Park celebrated their first attendance checkpoint this week with a special assembly!
Students who had missed zero or only one day of school were invited to participate in the fun “Chuck a Duck” event. Participants lined up to toss their rubber duck into a pool set up in the center of the gym, while classmates cheered them on.
All students received a small prize, along with the opportunity to take part in the celebration.

Today, Carlin Park students celebrated meeting both attendance goals and learning goals in an assembly.
First, we introduced our classroom Cardinal trees. Then, 161 students were recognized for having perfect attendance or for only missing 1 day of school so far this year.
We are focused on making our school goal of having 94% of our students at school for 97% of the school year.

Good morning families! What an interesting week of learning. Today's elearning day will be different than the two we had earlier this week. Students will not be on Google meets "live." Instead, teachers will be putting Google slides or assignments for the students to work through independently. Our teachers will be available until 3:00 for questions or clarifications. Thank you for your flexibility and support this week.
