Happy School Counselor Week to Jackie Wilkinson and Trish Crim. They are among the best, and we appreciate everything they do for us! Ms. Crim is a little camera shy, but both these ladies are out and about in our building helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for all. From testing, to scheduling, to counseling they always put students first. If you see them, please thank them for the job they do.

The MSD of Steuben County 2024-2025 school calendar was approved two years ago to help families plan for school events, including graduation. However, the Indiana High School Athletic Association moved all of its calendar events back one week for the 2024-2025 school year. Unfortunately, this has caused a conflict between the spring sporting events that our senior students will participate in and our graduation ceremony. We want to make sure that all of our senior students have the opportunity to participate in their extracurricular activities and their graduation ceremony. For this reason, we are rescheduling the class for the 2025 graduation ceremony from Thursday, May 29th 7:00 p.m. to Friday, May 30th, at 7:00 p.m. at the Hornet Football Stadium.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) chapter at AMS! Last night, we proudly inducted our very first 41 members. These exceptional students were selected for their dedication to the core values of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character, and Citizenship.
The AMS cafeteria was filled with excitement and pride as family, friends, and staff gathered to celebrate this significant milestone. 🙌
