
Special Education Rules Title 511 Article 7 Rule 34 requires that public schools hold a consultation session with parents of home schooled students who have children with a disability or suspected of having a disability that reside in the school district's area.
The Metropolitan School District of Steuben County will hold this “Child Find” consultation session on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 2:15 PM. The session will be at 400 S. Martha Street, 2nd Floor Board Room.

Ms. Kubiszak & Mr. Lanam’s health classes have spent the last 2 weeks analyzing the influences in their lives; peers, family, social media and technology & how they influence both internally and externally. Students presented their jars on who has the most influence on them.



Mrs. Dowell's AP Stats class move into our two variable data unit. Students got a refresher on least square regression lines and collecting data with some Barbie bungee jumping!

Mrs. Billow's world history class completed a digital SEL project as part of their Egypt unit. Students decorate their digital "sarcophagus" with images & symbols that represented their lives using the guiding question "How do you want to be remembered?" #APride #shareourstory

Today Ms. Engel-Walworth's math class went outside and acted out scenarios that our partners had to interpret and then create a graph based on what they saw. #APride #shareourstory

Students in Mrs. Klick's chemistry class using graduated cylinders and triple beam scales. The goal was to find the volume and mass of a marble to determine density. They accomplished the goal & had fun learning to use the tools.

Angola High School’s Vocal Infinity is an auditioned choir that performs a cappella music in competitions and throughout the community. They spend a rigorous week before school begins preparing music and becoming a great team. By only the third week of school these students have already prepared and performed 4 advanced vocal pieces that were well-received by parents and families this past Tuesday. For the past two years Vocal Infinity has received gold ratings at ISSMA Jazz group 1 competition and hopes to continue that streak this year.
