Principal's Message

Welcome to Hendry Park Elementary School!  Our entire staff is looking forward to working with you and your child to make this a productive and rewarding school year,
whether we are face-to-face or virutally connecting from home.

In our ongoing efforts to keep our students, families, and staff healthy and safe, we will not be having onsite registration this summer. Under the Announcements tab on
this website, you will find very important forms that would normally be filled out at registration. Please print all of these forms, complete them, and return them to Hendry
   Park Schoo by JULY 29.

A new form is the Virtual Learning Survey. This form allows families to choose to have their students participate in eLearning (virtual learing) instead of face-to-face
classes if there are health concerns that warrant a student not attending school at their regular building during the 2020-21 school year. The form also includes
questions that are required for reporting to the Indiana Department of Education regarding each student's internet accessibility. This information will allow us to apply for
a grant to meet the needs of families who do not have sufficient internet acess. Should we have to close school and resume eLearning at any time during the school
year, we want to ensure all students can fully participate.

It is very important that we get all of your completed forms returned to Hendry Park BY JULY 29.

Please print, complete, and return the following forms:
        Virtual Learning Survey form
        Annual Health Update form
        Student Demographic Information form
        Additional Contacts form

Also under the announcements tab, you will find the MSD re-entry guidelines and the Hendry Park re-entry guidelines for the 2020-21 school year. These include
                                                                                                        guidelines for After School Childcare.

To stay informed, please refer to this site often for events posted on our Google calendar, read our monthly newsletters (email and hard copies available), classroom
